Whistle1 is a retro football manager in the style of the 1990s classics. Take over a club, sign players, run training, set tactics, manage finances and the stadium, and lead your team through league play, a national cup competition with amateur rounds, and European cup competitions.


SIX COUNTRIES, ONE MANAGER

Play in Germany, England, Turkey, Italy, France or Spain. Each country has three league divisions, a national cup with amateur rounds, country-specific referee names and localised stadium names. The game ships with 18 league competitions, more than 620 teams and over 35,000 players.

Whistle1 is fully free. The game contains no energy systems, no paywalls and no pay-to-win mechanics. Core gameplay runs offline. An online global leaderboard lets you compare careers worldwide. Community-created databases can be imported as user files.


DEVELOPED BY ONE PERSON, WITH AI AS A TOOL

Whistle1 is built by solo developer Aydin Kaplan alongside his full-time job. Around 80 percent of the codebase has been written using the AI coding assistant Claude Code, with all design, balancing and product decisions made by the developer.
